This 18-hole championship Golf Course, designed by renowned third generation golf course Architects Perry Dye and LPGA Champ Jan Stephenson, will satisfy a golfer's palate of any magnitude. Rich, lush, rolling fairways weave throughout undulating landscape, surrounded by serene lakes, native vegetation and wildlife. The course even features a bonus 19th green par 3 shaped like the continent of Australia.

"Walkabout" Golf & Country Club gets it's name from an Australian term referring to the belief that Australian Aborigines "Go Walkabout" at the age of thirteen in the wilderness for six months as a rite of passage. They then trace the path of the ceremonial ancestors of their tribe, following the exact route that those ancestors took, and imitating in a fashion, their heroic deeds.
